Working for Enterprise is not for everyone, but it's worth looking into.

Pros

Great oppertunity to meet and network with people. Many customers that you give rides to often are career professionals with interesting jobs. I was able to network with presidents, ceo's, and managers at successful corporations around town. These people are often in a position to offer you a job or give you job leads. If you are able to advance in the company, the pay is very good and so are the benifits.

Cons

The downsides of working for Enterprise are the long hours and very low pay. Also, it's very difficult to advance due to the amount of competion. Another downside is that the work gets very very boring. But hey you can't expect much excitement from car rental.

Pros

If your settling for a rigid advancement program

Cons

Work life balance....55 hours a week. from 7am to 6:30 every day. This includes saturday. And you have to have a college degree to do this. Poor Pay. would be better if they started you at 40,000, instead of 29,00

Decent starting job, not such a good long-term career choice.

Pros

Opportunity to meet lots of great people. Social gatherings were always exciting. Pretty good benefits.

Cons

Very little work/life balance. Pay for branch managers does not compensate for the amount of responsibility. Constantly micro-managed. Washing cars in a suit because old very fast. Customers can be extremely picky and hard to please.
