Pros

Beautiful views of the greenbelt and skyline. It felt like you were looking out from an airplane window. Great culture in the office.

Cons

Most data entry jobs are head-down instead of head-up, so you really need to make an effort to get to know people because there's usually little need to communicate face-to-face with team members.

Your comment about data entry roles being heads down instead of heads up is really good feedback for us. We try to provide opportunities like in office happy hours for people to meet each other but recognize that sometimes that is hard. Something you might suggest to your manager is to host an open house with your team where you invite people to come meet your team and learn what they do. I'd be happy to brainstorm with you about ways you can interact with and get to know others better.

Pros

flexible schedule, relaxed dress code, nice view of nature

Cons

in the beginning it was great. They truly cared about the employees and making sure that the product they sent to the clients was perfect. Then things changed. All they cared about was getting the product out whether it was fully functional or not. They cared only about speed and how much could be done and no longer cared about accuracy. They no longer truly cared about employees (oh they provided the appropriate lip service they did...but in reality...no they did not) they laid off several people so they could transfer our jobs oversees so they could pay less and not offer benefits. This became a very toxic place to work because of everyone's unhappiness and fear of losing their job to India.

We're glad you recognize the unique culture of Drillinginfo and that you are finding the management, people and industry position to be positive influences for you. We truly value feedback and strive to continuously improve across all these areas and more. I hear you on change. Change, particularly org changes, can be challenging. However, as a high growth organization, change is necessary to make the leaps and bounds we need to thrive. It's how we handle that change that matters most. Think about the amazing accomplishments we have made as One Team across all departments. Change has been a part of making those possible. My ask of you... come see me. Let's talk about your experience and how it can be better. How do we make that 4 stars 5 and how do we ensure that your (and your colleagues) experience around change is as positive as possible? Thank you for sharing your experience, for your engagement and for taking the time to share opportunities for us to improve.
