Pros
Basically your own boss, can work from home, semi-laid back atmosphere (depending on what project you're on), really great people, fast growing, rarely boring
Cons
Very long work hours (depending on what project you're on), bad benefits (no 401 matching, little in the way of time off compared to other companies, expensive insurance), little guidance from peers, it's kind of sink or swim, doesn't seem like very competitive salaries

Pros
Lots of java based coding . People good in java, j2ee can easily get into it. Team work is extremely important here
Cons
Loads n loads of work. The salary is also very low. 50000 was offered to me but is quite decent for Ithaca.
