Executive Leadership has lost its way

Pros

-Love my team -WFH and flexible working framework

Cons

-The motto of this company has been "In this Together" yet since the revolving door of CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, and the like over just the last year alone, this company has completely lost its way when it comes to its own employees. Strange new executive hires almost weekly that feel like what can only be called borderline conspicuous. CEO seems to have only brought on people from their old company, or family members. Upper management employees that have been with the company for years are here one minute and gone the next, without any notice to the rest of the company as to why. The direction this company is going now is questionable at best, at worst it feels like just another cash grab that will end with the company gutted and a shell of what it used to be.

Pros

Good people to work with, good benefits

Cons

Atmosphere changed almost overnight to a corporate feel, no longer feels like a family and everyone is just a number. Long time employees being let go left and right. All new leadership who don’t know what the company even does yet but are all making their own changes, lack of communication overall

Pros

-Your colleagues on the same level as you are nice.

Cons

-Regardless of which agency you work for in medical communications, the job is demanding. However, Envision takes a lack of work-life balance to a whole new level. -The pay is extremely low compared to other companies. The benefits aren't that great either. Health and Dental Insurance provided is not good. I can guarantee you that if you go to any other agency, your starting salary will be much higher. -Employees are machines with the amount of work that needs to get done with short turnaround times. Envision is one of the largest, premier medical communications firms and has a large clientele base. Underneath the surface of all that prestige, they do not hire enough people to support the amount of projects that needs to get done for their clients. There's a lot of mistakes made on client projects as a result. I was pulled across 4 different accounts at some points while I worked at Envision. If you are in this business, you know that's insane and the amount of work with 4 accounts is not doable. Expect to be a machine and treated as such if you join this company. The expectations in terms of workload put onto employees is unrealistic. The few people who truly are cut out for "work until you die" culture are the ones who move up and succeed at Envision. If not, it's "shape up or ship out." They have an incredibly high turnover rate. Almost everyone I previously worked with on my teams at Envision, has left. That itself says a lot about the kind of place this company is to work. -Middle management does not treat their employees well. There's a lot of bullying, gossip, lack of communication, passive-aggressive communication, and constant off-hours communication that happens. My managers and HR ultimately coerced me into resigning. - As for C level executives, such as the owner and CEO, well - you never see them or hear from them. When C level execs come to the office or hold meetings, they just throw around a bunch of corporate jargon, talk about revenue and expanding the company. Yes, this is what top-level management does at any company. However, they have no interest in making it a better place for employees to work or addressing the grave problems that go on in this company.
