Enviva reviews

The above could be a pro or a con. Over the years, I've told a lot of candidates to check out the negative reviews of this place before you join. It's not for everyone. If the above pros doesn't appeal to you, don't join. You will not like it and you will burn out. For me, it was great. But it's not for everyone. You need to be internally driven with thick skin and a strong work ethic to get the most out of your time at Enviva.

I wish i could have given negative stars. i joined ignoring the negative reviews only to find that negative reviews are actual reviews & all positive are either HR /paid reviews or by unskilled folks who can not find any job outside this company. Facts at Enviva 1 Super high attrition in IT. 2 Skilled IT staff will not take what goes in here and resign ,hence attrition is high. 3 Unskilled IT staff will remain here as they cannot get a job in real IT world. 4 IT leadership will trust contractors more than employees. 5 Contractors will gang up with unskilled IT staff against real skilled and performing IT staff as the skilled IT staff is threat to the contractor and unskilled staff. 6 Due to all unskilled IT staff and poor leadership IT .IT is always working counter productive and creating problems instead of solving issues for business. 7 Everyone is always ready to put the performing IT person who actually solves all the issue under the bus and hence skilled IT person will always leave because it is easy for them to get jobs in outside world , result you are left with IT department with poor leadership who trust contractors and unskilled IT staff who have to remain in Enviva because they can never get IT jobs outside Enviva. 9 Most unfit people in IT, for example you have project managers who are not PMP trained , Service delivery managers who have no idea about ITIL and Dynamics AX people who have no idea about how AX really works. 10 IT 's favorite excuse to business to hide its incapacities is " SOX compliance" and in reality IT has no idea about what are basis of SOX compliance.
