1. As stated in other reviews, Enviva could do a lot better at showing employees they value them. Each of the pros listed above rely heavily on the fact that you are willing to work longer hours (including nights, weekends, or holidays) to get the job done. Some of this will be alleviated by proper staffing. Other parts of this won't be. Enviva will continue to grow faster than they can keep up due to employee burnout. There's a very high turnover rate within all departments of the company and it's not due to extended hours alone
1b. Enviva has no loyalty to its employees and do not always treat them like people. You get the feeling that you are a butt in a seat and that your paycheck is enough to keep you sitting and productive.
2. There are lots of office politics and people undermining and even disrespecting their colleagues. Not in a closed door conversation, but out in the open for people, in and outside of the department, to hear. Management does nothing about this
3. Some of the executives are a bit elitist and may/may not speak to you in the hallways or in the elevator (awkward much?)
