Pros

Everyone is very friendly and easy to approach, nice environment to work in, the animating is really straightforward and simple to get adjusted to.

Cons

No opportunities to progress to a senior role even after working for a number of years. Animation is limited to realistic Facial and Body mocap data, hardly any opportunity to learn and train in more creative stylised keyframe animation.

- nice and highly competent colleagues - good work ethic and high-quality standards - company culture - well-known products (Fortnite, Unreal Engine)

Cons

- high-stress environment, quite short deadlines - management is tending towards pro-AI - work-life balance is quite poor - limited freedom to pursue hobby projects that could turn entrepreneurial - A high focus on the metaverse means fun projects get cancelled that don't neatly fit into it
