Pros

Brilliant and passionate co-workers, flexible hours, exciting work, great compensation, challenging work. Always feel like you're on the cutting edge. Facilities are top notch, and being fed all the time is pretty amazing.

Cons

Brilliant and passionate co-workers butting heads :), long hours, unclear expectations, fair to poor career mentorship. History of poor 'middle' management. As the company grows they're making a serious effort to improve here.

Pros

* The substantive content of the work is cool and interesting. * Management genuinely cares about employee welfare and is quite generous. * Great company culture - super casual and fun but serious about doing a good job. * The Raleigh area is an excellent place to live.

Cons

Your Epic coworkers are some of the best in the biz, and there certainly is an expectation of high performance. It's good to keep you on your toes, but quality must be something you really want to achieve.

Pros

Amazing talent and dedication top to bottom. Transparency at the executive level, agile business strategy. Leadership that is not complacent and always pushing forward. Flat management, no micromanagement, plenty of autonomy. Daily playtests where your feedback is heard and responded to.

Cons

Growing fast, flat management means career path is not as clearly mapped out as other companies. Your path is what trail you choose to blaze.
