Foot in the door

Pros

Epitec is a contractor. With any contractor the primary value they give is a foot in the door to a major company. It gives you the opportunity to prove yourself and get hired directly from a major company.

Cons

It's a contractor. All you are to them is a money making machine. They have no involvement on the actual work you are doing or the management structure of where you are contracted to. All benefits besides 401k (holiday/PTO, health insurance) are payed for by the employee. After negotiations on your salary, each benefit results in a certain $/hour reduction in pay which is usually more money than the benefit saves. 401k match is the lowest I've ever seen. It's a great way to get your foot in the door at a major company, but your primary focus after being hired should be getting full-time employment at the company your contracted with.
