Pros

Being a tech company which serves scientists across the world, Eppendorf offers webinar learning, knowledge sharing among specialists, in-house research and feedback by management, to ensure all field staff are technically competent and professionally groomed to be a better, reliable Eppendorf-er to serve the scientific community, as expected from a premium brand. A good company that offers security, growth through learning, and decent remuneration for science graduates (BSc, MSc, PhD).

Cons

Flat organisational hierarchy and low turnover rate made career promotion up the rank is more difficult than an average company. Not the company for rat racers who wants to jump fast the corporate ladder with high fly pay and high year-end bonuses.

Company car, flexibility with schedule and spending accounts, good 401K and profit sharing, overall friendly people, more of a good ol boys club environment

Cons

Lower base salary and overall compensation in the industry and no new technology to be competitive, over priced to competitive in the market, home office is clicky and gossipy, upper management almost never wants to call you directly but pass the message along

Some products are solid. Benefits ok.

Cons

German HQ doesn't care about US employees. Older products require lots of babysitting. Lots of extra hours expected from everyone for no extra pay.
