Started well, ended poorly

Pros

The office I worked out of was very flexible with working from home and taking time off. Amount of paid time off was good, but my team was an outlier.

Cons

Laying off workers every quarter. They opened an office in India and had our team training them for 6 months while saying, "nobody's job is in jeopardy." Then they cut the team I worked on from 5 to 2 over 2 rounds of cuts(6 months) as well as about ten other employees in the office. Underpaid for industry standard for what work we were doing. Claimed we weren't a "24 hour" yet we were expected to work and answer emails at almost all hours.

Pros

Very flexible with working time, can work from home, etc. Company culture is positive in general, not overly demanding. Decent time off and 401(k) match.

Cons

Work is dull, occasionally you can be asked to work longer hours. Compensation is not great for analytics. Because of this there's been about 75% turnover in my office in the last year. This kind of thing is very risky because it looks bad to clients and can mean that we lose a lot of knowledge. A number of managers are incompetent or apathetic. Entry-level staff sometimes have to take on responsibilities way above their paygrade, which is called "opportunity for growth and leadership". Servicedesk/IT is very slow it's better to avoid dealing with them if you can.

hank you for your review and feedback regarding your time here at Epsilon. We are glad you were able to take advantage of flexible work schedule and experience the company culture in a positive way. We also review the latest compensation benchmark data and work to ensure that we are paying fair to market with a given role. Even then, we strive to offer a holistic package that includes perks beyond benefits and continually work to improve. Again, thank you for your feedback, we are listening and relaying back to the appropriate people so we can work to make Epsilon a better place for our associates. --Human Resources Team
