Pros

I've been remote for the almost 7 years I've worked here. Smart people and great data/idenity solutions. Acquisition by Publicis was a breath of fresh air - Arthur Sadoun (Publicis CEO) is amazing - transparent, honest, really cares about people.

Cons

For all the positive things I can say about Publicis leadership and culture, it unfortunately doesn't trickle down to Epsilon. Epsilon senior leadership culture is toxic. They set objectives and let the teams duke it out which has created overlap among teams, internal competition for client attention and dollars and shady behavior when it comes to acknowledging good work, and more importantly, rewarding employees. Very limited opportunities for career growth at the mid to upper levels (VP and above).

Pros

Work from home, good pay, some talented people (but you have to look for them).

Cons

Constant "blaming storming" sessions. When projects go sideways (and, oh, they will), always someone else's fault except management. Prepare to be talked-down to on a daily basis. "Cover your a55" culture at its best and someone is always watching for you to make a misstep. No work/life balance. Oh, "unlimited PTO"! HA! What a joke. You will get calls at all hours of the morning, including on weekends. And be prepared to work weekends. It's expected and required. Big Brother-like tactics. Managers from other groups will ask your coworkers on another team about you if you get on their wrong side to build a case against you. Small group of old-timers think they are bigger than their physical stature would suggest. Always going through a "reorg". Like to have your job outsourced to India? Then what are you waiting for? Come on board! Do yourself a favor: don't get pulled in by work-from-home and pay unless you use this as a stepping stone to something better.

Pros

-Health benefits -Flexible PTO (except this depends on your team, because some managers are still stuck in the 3 week, 5 sick days mindset, even though the company has stated it is flexible.) -Work from home (again, this depends on your team, but Epsilon has a two day WFH policy. A lot of older management believes you aren't working if you are working from home.)

Cons

- Employees are overworked and under appreciated - Promotions are dependent on what team you are on, and not how good you are. You will see people who deserve to get promotions not get them, and those that aren't as good get promoted because of politics and how well they are liked. - Upper management does not do a good job of allocating work evenly, and does not care about their employees work life balance - On some teams, certain people are doing all the work, and other teammates are doing nothing - A lot of upper management politics - Offshoring a lot of jobs, and they are not as qualified, causing a lot of errors and extra effort to correct - Extremely low pay compared to market
