Pros

Good starting point to enter the industry

Cons

Not much of salary increase. Work culture not so great anymore. Too much politics at play.

Pros

Never felt insecure in my job from a layoff perspective. Saw many promotions happening if you are willing to be in office most days of the week and be seen by leadership.

Cons

I came to work at Equifax via an acquisition (as many folks do). I was a remote worker and after a year they actively started pushing remote workers out of the company with their RTO policies even though teams were distributed all over the world. Folks would come into office just to be on Google meetings from their laptops. There was a lot of bureaucracy to navigate, but not unusual for a large, global company. It was difficult, almost impossible, to get in touch with an actual person from HR, payroll, etc., if you had any kind of problem. Pay was not great. It was way under market.
