      Pros

      Genuinely the best culture I have ever experienced. The company is very focussed around its staff and their development. The ethos is worldwide and makes for an incredible cameraderie. Frequent travel to learn, test, share ideas and nurture relationships. It is growing, expanding, and evolving rapidly, definitely a company that is seriously going somewhere. Very easy to share your views with anyone, on any level. A company lives or dies by the way it treats its staff, and Equinix embraces that. For all the everyday moans I hear, it is always qualified by "Don't get me wrong...this is a brilliant place to be". And it is. I am so happy to work here.

      Cons

      Large workload, as company evolves, there is substantial change. It is not one for those that do not like change or hard work. I have only put these in cons as it may not be for everyone....but as we work hard, so do we play hard. And one thing we have in common is that we honestly care.

      Fast Paced, High Growth, Amazing People

      Pros

      Equinix allows me the opportunity to be a part of building out global team. I'm learning and growing by being able to build out global processes, partnering with global teams and learning about how business is done in over ten countries around the world and solving problems on a global level. Management is very engaged with the employee population. They are making a true effort to maintain our company culture and values as we continue to grow at a rapid pace globally. They are engaged with employees at all levels and it is not rare to see them in the kitchen in the office in casual conversation with any employee. They are admired for their open door policy. They encourage being able to come to the table and disagree with an idea and voicing an opinion that may go against the grain but then make the best decision for the business. They are invested in their people, not just the bottom line.

      Cons

      It's extremely fast paced, we've taken on a lot of global projects trying to scale and with that comes growing pains. You have to be comfortable working in an environment where deliverables may change quickly and you will be expected to adapt just as quickly. It can be exhausting but for me that is part of the challenge I crave and love. While at times it can be overwhelming, my manager has always supported work life balance and always listened if I raised the white flag and offered assistance or redirect.

      Great Place to Work!

      Pros

      I have been a happy Equinix employee for 10+ years! I have seen the company grow into the global market leader through great strategic decisions by leadership, organic growth, M&A and lots of hard work. It has been an exciting ride. I appreciate that the great culture and values of Equinix have not changed despite our rapid growth and that's thanks in part to attention to this issue from all levels. At Equinix, employees take pride in the company and its successes. There is a focus on employee development, recognition programs and a new focus on employee wellness which is appreciated. As an employee I feel respected and valued. It's a great place to work and I have no plans to look elsewhere!

      Cons

      Sometimes with rapid growth there can be growing pains... Certain years the amount of work has felt overwhelming and I know some employees have felt burnt out. But I think management is getting better at recognizing this and addressing it.
