Pros

The company has been around for long enough to know what they are doing right and wrong. The sense of community you have when you join ELS is amazing. The Executive Team really seems to care about their employees both professionally and personally. Although they are a public company and nationwide you still feel important to the overall sucess. I feel confident in being a part of this company because of the longevity of peoples careers here.

Cons

There hasn't been anything that I could complain about.

Pros

Flexible schedule; casual attire; some talented management/employees

Cons

Constant turnover amongst upper and middle management as well as general employees; poor organizational structure/too many layers of management; little to no inter-departmental communication resulting in low productivity/efficiency, low morale, and poor customer service; lack of innovation - new ideas not brought to the table or encouraged, company slow to update policies, procedures, and software; some management unknowlegable, bullying in the workplace tolerated; some micromanagement; some promotions based on favoritism; overall, company hires to the middle/is conservative, disorganized, and behind the times.

Community managers strive to help each other accomplish goal and daily tasks.

Cons

Non responsive upper management. Last minute email to complete useless reports they already have access to. The only real training is from fellow employees. Constant changes to policies with no information being passed on the the properties. Blatent ridicule by upper manager with no regard to the employee working their back sides off. Procedures are changed constantly. Pay scale sucks unless you sell high end home every week.
