Pros

The management team grew up through the ELS organization and they strive to develop and grow their teams. The communication is open and you are encouraged to participate in finding new/better ways to continue to improve the company. Leadership is open to new perspective and welcomes the opportunity to work with groups to give them the tools and resources to continue to advance ideas. Employees are encouraged to challenge their thinking and understanding so they can also continue to grow and advance as well.

Pros

This company, from Corporate to Property level, treat their employees as part of interactive team. Always open to changes and lots of growth potential. They are always encouraging to promote from within. If there are issues, they are always addressed and look for ways of improvement. Many dedicated employees at this company who have worked here for a long time. Very friendly environment with lots of inter-department interaction. You don't have your typical stuffy executives here. They are smart, dedicated and down to earth people, who will always talk to you and extend that friendly "Hi!" when you see them. It's always been that way here.

In any job, there are some busy times, which may require long work hours.

I have worked for the company longer than other people who have posted here and there is a reason for why I’ve been here for years. New personal and professional learning and growth opportunities present themselves every day. The company is vibrant and dynamic and “stepping up” is recognized and encouraged. It is exciting to see the growth of the company and where it is headed. It’s rewarding to be a part of it!

Cons

Sometimes when positive changes are in the works, it is easy to be impatient and possibly not see the bigger picture and the fact that some things will take time. That is probably true of any work environment, though.
