Pros

Nice break in the retail scene – I love the community vibe in our stores. Erewhon is a grocery like no other. It stands out for its truly healthy products. We get subsidized meals every day (and organic at that!). We also have the standard benefits, like healthcare and PTO.

Cons

Expiring products. Need to take them out and reorganize the shelves. Fortunately, we don’t have much of this.

I met plenty of nice people.

Cons

Working for Erewhon is extremely exhausting and tiring. The horrible management here puts extreme pressure on the employees, and this results in a toxic work atmosphere and culture in the company. You will always hear managers berating and verbally abusing employees to supposedly push us to work more.
