Perf benefits are good, great place if you don't need any training

Cons

Don't ever ask for FMLA, you will get fired and don't try to take them to court because they will falsify records and reports and HR will let management get away with it and will even help them. They have some of the most ridiculous rules and policies, half of the people in management have never even managed or even hold degrees it's about how much butt you kiss to get to the top here. And their health insurance is great, yea right, if you only go to eskenazi physicians and to eskenazi hospital, otherwise you can bank on paying out your wazoo for Co payments! Yea a total waste of 5 yrs. Of my life!!!

Pay if you're an experienced Nurse, New Hires pay is terrible. Double time Holidays, (I'm sure that will go away soon, just like our PRN pool) Independent work environment, lots of accountability if you are a talented Nurse. Great Co-workers.

Cons

Floor to floor Drama, ICU Nurses are incredibly rude. Management will never note your accomplishments, but will stand 1st in line to "write you up" for anything, even 1 minute late Badge In. Poor advancement, Selected "Favorites" Really, truly enjoyed my work until Management took over our area and was totally unfair to long term nurses with unfounded criticisms, only believing "one side of the story" Patients are Indigent population and Management believes everything they report, even total lies! But, Hey, that's what OBama Health Care is all about, give free care to those who don't appreciate it or pay into the system!

They are a PERF employer (public employee retirement fund)

Cons

-The management team is horrible. -Employees are talked to and treated like children. -HR and executive management allows such behavior. -Training is non-existent...management is much more concerned with schooling you on their demeaning childish rules then they are with teaching you how to complete your duties well. On second thought they're not even capable of training because they've never taken the time to learn the job themselves. -Work environment obviously sucks because of the inhumane way people are treated.
