Pros

Cozy environment, Less stress (if you're into it), most of people have their office. I heard they're going to give employees "levels", like senior software engineer.

Cons

+ The codebase here is pretty chaotic: tons of duplicate code/product, antique technologies (ex. COM is still a thing here; I also saw some C++/CX in other team). + Tests are FAR FROM enough... + Some old timers want to live in legacy code forever but others want to use modern C++ and no one want to regulate the style so the C++ codebase is pretty terrible. + (personal rant) During the interview, I was asked some modern C++ stuff (ex. move semantic, lambda) but the team lead stopped me from using them in the real work here because the old timer *doesn't trust the new standard*!!! So...what's the point asking those questions in the interview as if the company is using new technology? + Low paid. Redlands is not some cheap city anymore but it's still a boring place in the middle of desert.

Pros

They give you the time and resources to ensure you have a firm grasp of your work. Cafe was cool, decent pay.

Cons

So unorganized. Lower management and senior management/HR were never on the same page. No communication at all. Got to be very confusing and frustrating.
