Pros

Company has a good purpose and vision. They truly wish to empower their customers to be successful with GIS. Incredibly stable place to work, with some flexibility in hours. Depending on the position, there usually is not an expectation to work after business hours.

Cons

Too many staff, processes, and middle managers to feel effective. Departments are silo'ed and don't work together to benefit the company as a whole. There can be a lack of accountability. Many managers lack experience and skill to encourage growth in their staff. Some internal systems are homegrown and result in withering of skill sets for staff.
