Pros

Good peopel to work with but pay is 20%-30% less than market value, and promotions are nill.

Cons

Promotion are almost non-existent. There was a promise of promotion at time of hire, but this was misleading. They promote without promoting pay (i.e. more work, same pay scale).

Pros

The extensive interview process ensures (for the most part) that the ones who survive share common traits - making them easier to work with. Benefits package is OK. Campus is beautiful and conveniently located.

Cons

Apathy rules. ESRI does not care about your career path. Management does not care if you lack the resources you need to get your job done. HR is a bad joke. You absolutely need to be a self-driven person to get anywhere. And bring your own supply of morale because you won't find any here. This is a tough place to make a career because so many management-level decisions are based on personal opinion and not industry best practices or what's right for the company.
