Burnout is real

Pros

The culture of ESRI is amazing. There are many talented individuals here who work well together. Collaboration with others was never an issue and it was always enjoyable.

Cons

Low compensation for the amount of knowledge one is expected to have. Unfair work distribution where the senior analysts get the shorter end of the stick. Low pay annual pay raises despite supporting premium cases. No clear career paths discussed that didn’t involve moving to another team within support.

Pros

-Most people are great to work with. -HR is amazing and responsive. Tons of development programs and support. -Work/life balance is nice. They encourage time off when needed. -Innovators in tech. -Encouragement to grow within position.

Cons

There seems to be a lot of finger pointing when something goes wrong. Even when it is minor, things are taken way out of proportion when they don't need to be. When concerns are brought to management, it takes so much time before action is taken. Collaboration and communication are sometimes nonexistent for some teams. Pay could be better. Not bad but also not great.

Pros

Flexible company to work for. Can make own hours and work overtime. Overtime is paid because all employees are hourly. The underlying ethos of the company is great too.

Cons

They don't pay a competitive salary and living in Redlands is pretty awful. Management is terrible. I have not met any managers that have impressed me.
