Pros

-Flexible work schedule -Nice people -Good Benefits

Cons

-Pay is not up to industry standard -No pay scales – you can take a promotion that requires much more responsibility and have no idea how much of a raise you will get… if any. -Takes forever to get anything done – lot of “red tape” -The company is privately owned, but COMPLETELY ran by HR -Very, very minimal pay increases each year…. Almost insulting.

Pros

Phenomenal team and technology stack. Enthusiastic user/customers. Novel approach to pay and benefits that actually works for some employees. ESRI has changed the face of the GIS industry

Cons

Doesn't play well with others. Although ESRI has always supported the standards community, its approach to partnering is constrained to companies that stay true to the ESRI product stack.
