Pros

Ethos is a fascinating company to work for. Every day is a adrenaline fueled ride with hills and bumps!!! One of the few marketplace businesses I have seen where there isn't any competition at all. The competitors in the space are either out of money or bankrupt while Ethos has infinite runway left/growing massively and breakeven EBITDA. What excites me the most is we aren't even 1% of all policies sold in life insurance per year with on competition other than a 150 year old industry that hasnt changed Founders are very humble and get their hands dirty, common to see them build/work along side you.

Cons

.Startups are ups and downs. Have to have a bit of gumption to withstand the ups and downs knowing ethos is number one in space and competitors are out of money

Pros

Autonomy: You don't have to worry about micromanagement working at this Culture: There is a strong ERG culture with many opportunities to get involved. The ERGs support each other at their events and also collaborate. This is also a great way to build relationships at all levels. Technology/Automation: Ethos is big on having the latest technology and creating ways for more autonomy within your work and how it is executed

Cons

Too much change in process that don't always equate to faster execution - a lot of time is spent on working to create new implementations and processes still continue without giving implementation a chance to see real progress or positive impact Leadership change - leadership changes frequently so it is hard to convey your career goals and be advocated for
