Pros

Ethos lives and breathes it core values. If you align with their core values and feel you naturally come by them in your day to day work ethic, then Ethos is a great place for you to take your career to the next level.

Cons

Reporting structure is not always clear leaving some ideas or processes to be figured out individually. If this is the type of environment that you can navigate and you have the ability to speak your mind, you could thrive at Ethos.

Pros

Sales leaders are good, laid back environment, competitive pay compared to my previous positions, benefits once you’re hired like PTO, quota relief, quarterly bonuses, etc

Cons

Tech issues, changes happen constantly, backend team is all based out of India and things aren’t always fixed quickly

Pros

Great co-workers. The Company has managed to hire a pretty incredible team that is crazy smart and hard working. There are also a lot of ex-FANG folks who joined Ethos as the next step in the careers to help scale and grow the business (which says a lot about the faith in the company). There aren't a lot of competitors providing a good service or product in this tough space so as long as the Company executes well they are on the right track to becoming hugely successful.

Cons

As all companies that are scaling, there are issues which make working here challenging. Some of the biggest issues are around competing priorities which can lead to a lot of thrash and lack of co-ordination / clear ownership of projects. This is not a place for someone who is looking for stability or for wanting to take a back seat. All the ingredients needed to be successful are in the mix, so if you are someone who is willing to roll your sleeves up, fix problems and figure things out, it's a great place to grow, learn and come out successful at the other end.
