I'm sure it's great if you're in India.

Cons

The company is outsourcing all roles that don't absolutely need to be in the US, to India. They also lie on their website by stating that they don't have commissioned sales agents, but they added commissioned sales agents about 2 years ago.

Pros

You actually get a lot of ownership here. I came from a larger company before where no one really had a lot of responsibility. That isn't a problem at Ethos. There's a huge amount of stuff to do and there's usually not enough people. I like that I have high impact projects and that I get to be part of a small team owning it.

Cons

It can be stressful working here. I know several other employees that are also stressed out. Leadership pushes hard on projects and deadlines and it's clear that Ethos isn't for people who are looking for a 9-5. I think this has become more of an issue since COVID because people are always on slack.
