Pros

Remote work. Free food at HQ.

Cons

No vision, shows in their product-- lackluster leadership team, especially operations. A bunch of low performers who use "consensus driven" to do little. Shady management team in operations who will stab you in the back to protect their interests and shady practices. Semi racism in how they treat people

Pros

The people, the mission and the perspective are marvelous. I love to work here. Etsy really cares about their employees with great benefits and competitive salaries within the fintech industry.

Cons

We have to much to do to expand the marketplace and the mission.

Pros

Etsy provides good benefits and recognizes that employees need to be healthy and happy to do well in their jobs. They almost always made reasonable accommodations, trained their managers well, and kept salaries at market level- even for long term employees.

Cons

Like any company, they are in the business of making money. There can be a level of toxic positivity when leaders talk about the mission statement, but no more so than most companies.
