Pros

The company is amazing, awesome wax, products, packages, etc.

Cons

I worked at the Centennial location in Colorado. Unfortunately my experience with this great company was very negative. Poor ownership, who went through five different managers in the course of one year. Franchises are rough!

Pros

Waxing and product discounts were very generous. The people I worked with were fantastic. I enjoyed selling wax passes and interaction with customers. Part time position so they were flexible with my availability. after a year I did in increase in my hourly wage.

Cons

Sometimes I felt that policies were not always followed and then a policy would be enforced to make a statement without a warning. There were no benefits for part time guest service associates. Some coworkers as GSAs were not professional and that was difficult.

Pros

The guest's are AMAZING. Your co workers are your family. The products are fantastic. The wax is the best out there. There is always an outreach "program" for tips and tricks as well as any other questions you might have involving EWC or waxing. Training (when done right) is thorough and a huge help to anyone waxing. Pay is decent. You are given a clientele.

Cons

Management uses corporate as a shield. They have blackout dates for holidays so if you want to go home for the holidays forget it. Getting any shifts covered is tedious. Numbers numbers numbers numbers. Their main focus is numbers and hitting goals to benefit the managers with peanuts for kudos to workers. Estrogen is rampant and heaven forbid if you offend one of your coworkers it turns into a catty situation. Even if your numbers are good you still have to be careful of backstabbing. Training is TOUGH and not for the weak. Your books will get messed up. The company will not look out for you. You are on your own in regards to a guest coming after you and your license. If you bring any guests with you make it clear who they are or you will have a lawsuit on your hands.
