Pros

You can make a lot of money. Very understanding if you can't make it into office

Cons

The company culture is awful. The office was horrible. Everything is so clicky. You can make a lot of money there but you have to have a good account in order to do so. I think if you come in at a great time and work hard, you can make it. But I also know people who worked hard and didn't have a good accounts and didn't. In my office, everyone just talked crap about each other. base pay is also relatively low.

Pay Rates

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

As long as you're doing your job from the client's side you'll be left alone.

Cons

You have to fight for your desired rate. No holiday and/or time off pay even with great behavior. You're the last to know if your contract ends. Their staff has a high turnover.

Hi, we would like to thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. While there are many factors that come into play when it comes to consultant PTO/sick time/holiday pay, it is most often determined by the type of contract the client has in place with us and/or the length of the contract. Based on the average length of our consultant contracts, by the time the requirement of time worked is met, the assignment has or is getting ready to end. However, we would like to learn more about your specific situation. Please contact us at feedback@apexsystems.com so we can learn more about your experience and provide additional information. Thank you.

Great Recruiter

Business Outlook

Pros

-Great communication from recruiter and account manager -Negotiated great pay -Flexible scheduling -Holiday parties! (seems kind of dumb, but as a contractor, I have not experienced much in the way of these kinds of events at other agencies and I'm usually not invited to client events)

Cons

-Contracts renewed at 6 month intervals -Per usual for contracting, no PTO -While benefits are available, they are not great
