Pros

Responsive to questions about employment. Options for long and short term disability.

Cons

Keep in mind this is contracting and the client's whims come first. If you have a different supervisor with the client than other contractors, you may not get the same treatment for making up hours missed for doctor appointments, holidays, or opportunities for overtime.

Pros

The work environment is filled with plenty of opportunities to sink your physical and mental skills into. I enjoy a challenge, and the position's I have held while performing government contract work have been very rewarding and engage me to seek out the details that most avoid.

Cons

If you want to sit around and chat with your fellow co-workers about topics that don't improve the productivity and ethical behavior in the field and office environment, I suggest moving to a different employment opportunity with an employer that allows that.
