Pros

Offers good opportunities for entry level IT jobs. The recruiter and staff were very straight forward and helpful. The job itself was very open ended in the approach you chose to complete work. Monthly work status reports were required with goals to reach each month.

Cons

The pay was low for the area I worked in. After talking to coworkers I realized I had been undersold pretty severely on my contract. No paid holidays the health benefits were not very good. When it came to hiring overseas Apex had no clue what they were doing. I was moved to my location and was unclear to work for about 7 months. However, I was still paid. Shortly after I started working the contract was terminated. I would have greatly appreciated the opportunity to validate the contract with good work and results. I feel that chance was not provided to me or to our clients at the time.

Pros

Direct Deposit; Weekly Pay; Not much else.

Cons

Non-negotiable rates; Condescending Account Managers; Horrible compensation. The job I was contracted for (Desktop Refresh) did not match the job actually assigned. The assigned job was more as a Project Coordinator which I would never do at the rate given to me. Apex representatives have provided absolutely no assistance. They are, perhaps, the worst company I have ever contracted with.

Pros

Paid every week Clean environment Diverse culture

Cons

The recruiters are duplicitous concerning the jobs available, and the length of the contracts. Company does NOT place employees based on work profession, their aim to to fill a contract. Pay below average. Requests for job-reassignments are ignored. Weak benefits. NO paid holidays. No career advancement. There is a revolving door for keeping qualified tech, most tech just quit, hard to stay motivated.
