Pros

The pay is okay. The people are tolerable. The environment is not too stressful. The weather in San Diego is terrific. Thank you.

Cons

I wasn't offered any benefits but that is expected as I am a subcontractor. These are just added words so that I reach the minimum amount.

Pros

- Currently on a 1 year contract with MIT Lincoln Laboratory, but the contract has been renewed for the past 9 years. - They are able to keep you employed.

Cons

- Management Team in the Boston Area does a lot of lip service for supporting individuals against the parent company (On Assignment) modifications to benefits - Parent company has slowly taken away benefits over the years (401k match reduced, health insurance premiums drastically increased, sick/leave time, 401K fees drastically increased) from contractors even though the stock price has tripled in the same time frame. - Communications from parent company are not filtered properly for MIT community of contractors
