Pros

None to speak of now.

Cons

Once you agree on a rate and get the position, they will try and lowball you with another rate. Don't bother giving these guys your resume.

Pros

If you are good in sales, the staffing industry is a great place to make money because there is no glass ceiling. That was one of the best parts about working there.

Cons

Over the last few years the culture of the company has taken a dive, and many tenured employees have voluntarily left due to this. The company has a hard time giving any constructive criticism to upper management even if employees have voiced complaints-as long as an office is doing well, things are swept under the rug.

Pros

I was pleased to get a call from a recruiter at Apex regarding a position with a global company. I interviewed with Apex and the company, and accepted a job offer, all within a week.

Cons

There are a few which come to mind right away, which gives me a 'less than impressive' impression of the company: * Time Entry: Pay is distributed weekly, and you go to their web site to submit. I am often on-call and at those times, enter my week's time closer to the deadline. I was less than 15 minutes late on the entry and the system locked me out. I sent an email to my recruiter and was told that it will delay my paycheck a week. This is splitting hairs, and they have the ability to process time entry after the deadline! * I have met my account manager twice... once for the interview and once for my start date. Other than that I only occasionally hear from a recruiter, and that is almost always to see if I know of any 'leads'. * This company is strictly 'time paid for time worked', and offers no vacation, bench time etc. It would be nice to have some kind of benefit in place around this. I think it all comes down to them trying to squeeze in every penny they can, and then giving those nice bonuses to the upper management.
