Pros

It's exhausting to read the reviews here right? Everyone complaining and saying how bad it is. I've been a recruiter here for 3 years and I've seen a lot of people come and go. Where are they now? Complaining and leaving online reviews. Why? Because they are no longer part of our team. In my three years as a recruiter I've learned more than I have in my whole career leading up to joining the team. It's very hard at CyberCoders to hang if you aren't successful and that's why we have turnover. We were acquired by On Assignment two years ago I think and they have very aggressive growth goals for us. We probably grew too fast at first, my team hired a lot of people who didn't make it, but those who did are making more money and being more successful than they ever have, including me. This is an environment of work hard/play hard and enjoy success. It annoys me when I read the reviews here of people complaining when I know it's because they just were not successful. Ask yourself the question - If someone is making it happen are they leaving negative reviews - no. If you have questions call one of our managers and come see us. My manager is hiring and I'm sure he'll show you around. When it comes to an environment of very clear goals, being shown how to make a lot of money this is it. We have things to work on - business development is harder than it has been. But when you get a client our systems deliver me candidates that my competitors just can't touch. I deliver quicker than anybody else - put Cybercoders recruiters up against any competitor and we'll win. It's that simple. We win here. If you aren't a winner don't apply because you won't make it here. If you are a winner then you'll be surrounded by people who are like you but don't expect coddling. This is a eat or be eaten environment and I for one love it.

Cons

We've been so focused on growth we allow non performers to hang out too long. I see people complaining on here about in mails, emails, expectations - the reason is that they just didn't perform or aren't performing. Focus on your activity and you'll make it here. Let's cut those non-performers sooner. Managers should be cutting those guys to make way for new talent. I don't want non-performers sat on my team. I want to be surrounded by winners. At the moment managers are focused on growth and have people last longer than they should. They leave on their own terms rather than my manager's. That means they get to leave and complain. If they were let go we can say they didn't work out whereas right now they leave us and they creates issues for me and my team.

Pros

Casual dress, the best database on the market, you can post a ton of job ads. There are still a handful of very experienced, ethical recruiters to learn from. A very rare few will make a great living.

Cons

Ever since they were purchased by OnAssignment the brand has taken a horrible nose-dive. They basically hire anybody with a pulse just to keep up with the attrition rate of the senior-level recruiters; the result is: tremendous market saturation, a culture of back-stabbing, burning bridges with clients and candidates alike, over-promising and under-delivering, fake job ads and systematic abuse of the system. When I was at CyberCoders we were known as the single worst abusers of LinkedIn inmails in the world according to our LinkedIn rep. One guy was literally sending out 20,000 inmails every week, which explains why we go it taken away. There are directors that don't bill and still make nearly half a million dollars a year and only justify their existence by holding a ton of worthless mandatory meetings just to hear themselves talk.

Pros

Agency Recruiting is tough, probably one of the hardest jobs on the face of the earth. Very few are cut out for this type of role. That being said. Best recruiting agency to work for hands down. Best technology, best culture, best parties. You can make a ton of money and the rewards/ perks are top notch.

Cons

Growing too fast, which (in my opinion) is hurting company culture. They are hiring people that should not be hired.
