      Pros

      Been at Evergreen almost 15 years. We celebrate many employees on their benchmark work anniversaries of 20, 25, 30, 35 and even 40 years!!! Our leadership team truly cares about the community and its employees. It is great to work for an independent health system when so many others are being consolidated and "corporate". Benefits are incredible and PTO is generous for long-term employees. Family atmosphere....people really do care.

      Cons

      No merit-based pay. Everyone gets the same raise whether you excel in your role or are skating by. For more work and projects than resources. Work-life balance can be a struggle and there is an "always on" mentality from middle leadership. Some office locations are deteriorating and are not appealing to attracting new talent. Management doesn't follow the leadership tenants when it comes to modeling good coaching and showing a good work-life balance.
