Then, like they were trying to destroy the company, they promoted the worst people in leadership and lost the best, overworked everyone and achieved insane churn, and made terrible decision after terrible decision. At the best of times, the workload and pace at Everlywell/Everly Health was unhealthy, but in earlier years at least we were working toward smart goals and achieving them. After acquiring PWN and bringing on their leadership, they allowed people who didn’t know anything about Everlywell and didn’t care about the company to make decisions.
Also, they have a serious problem with how they treat black women. I am a white woman, but I witnessed repeated mistreatment and micro aggressions, and my black coworkers told me about egregious “feedback” they were given by leadership that, to me, seemed like it was strongly colored by racist bias and stereotypes. I would not recommend this as a safe place to work for people of color.
