Pros

Honestly, can't think of a single pro. Maybe unlimited PTO but the onus is on you to take vacation. Good luck with that.

Cons

Quite literally everything else. Pay is not competitive, c-suite and exec "leadership" as it were doesn't know how to lead, we don't have a company strategy, all company meetings create more tension and anxiety than they adequately address issues, and the game-playing and politics are pervasive and outright toxic. People who get promoted are not supported in the roles they take on, nor are they prepared. Everyone has their hands in EVERYTHING, in the weeds VPs means you never get to actually drive anything or grow.

Sadly Been Going Backwards

Pros

Smart people (this has been declining). Work from home. Overall benefits.

Cons

The company seems to have sadly moved back into startup mode due to the rapid, unorganized growth that it went through and the lack of profit from Covid that it is now dealing with. Tenure is ridiculously low which makes work very frustrating when everyone is asking who a contact should be for something, or worse yet, asking you about a process that THEY should be managing (I'm talking about a different department asking YOU about THEIR process), which in effect means there are no processes. New person...new process...forgotten process...was there even a process...repeat. Every other day is back to the drawing board so expect your work to not matter, to work in a hectic environment due to reactiveness, and to jump on a million "all hands on deck" meetings where everyone is still left wondering what is to actually be prioritized...for that moment/hour/day. Therapy is company offered and many colleagues admitted to taking advantage of this "benefit" due to work specifically... I don't know that that's a good thing...

We understand the ever-changing pace of a high-growth company can be challenging. It is often essential for us to reassess our efforts to ensure we are making a difference for our customers and patients in the right way. We continue to encourage Everlys to take care of themselves and their health through our robust benefits, including utilizing Headspace, Lyra, and PTO. Thank you for sharing your feedback as we value the opportunity to listen and learn. Your concerns are noted and if you have any additional questions please contact share@everlyhealth.com. -Everly Health

Pros

WFH. My immediate team was cool.

Cons

No direction or follow-thru on work commitments and project priorities. Cross-functional team collaboration is basically non-existent with massive amounts of finger-pointing and blame games. Nobody wants to take responsibility for anything or own their work (it’s all so funny now seeing the level of immaturity in grown adults). Big egos in general (cue my eye rolls). Management nor C-suite know what they are doing most of the time, nor do they know what they want from teams (other than money money money and placating the BoD!!) Newsflash, the work also ISN’T meaningful when it’s changing every 5 seconds in a new direction with no preparation and teams already over-loaded and burnt out. Found out I was also grotesquely underpaid for my title, experience, education and project contributions in comparison to several co-workers that held the same position/title/workload. I’m not talking a few thousand either… literally disturbing. Anyway- thanks for doing me a favor and laying me off in June with the other 90+ people. This all goes to show you are not a company of integrity and obviously not trustworthy, although I guess the “reduction in force” shouldn’t have come as a surprise either with the amount of people that had already been jumping ship without another job lined up and several executives walking out leading up to that. In summary, don’t work here :)
