-Culture with a bias toward action and allowing leaders to emerge. Openness to individual contributors taking ownership and accountability for success and innovation in their areas of the business. -Flexibility is a given and team members are trusted to get their work done when it works best for them. -The people are incredibly smart, dedicated and hard working. They truly care about each other. Management genuinely cares about people personally as well as professionally.

Cons

-No formal process for performance reviews/career development can push these discussions to the background. People development is emphasized as important but not having a defined process can have it frequently taking a back seat.

Pros

Working at Everyday Health Group has been one of the best decisions I ever made for my career. I have had the chance to work on so many interesting projects, some which I had some experience in and some which I didn’t, but they still allowed me to be a part of those projects, contribute and learn. The Company is very employee friendly, most of the teams I have worked with are friendly and easy to approach if you have questions etc. The company has a really great benefit package: Health care, unlimited PTO, ability to work remotely. Overall, it’s a great company with an excellent leadership team.

Some projects can be challenging, dealing with the unknown as the project might be a new technology

Pros

There are infinite opportunities to grow, step outside your comfort zone and learn from leaders in the media space. Being part of the Mentorship program has been extremely valuable to my career. Everyday Health Group is the first place I have worked to offer this perk. Employee Resource Groups have been a great way to meet new people and engage with the organization. The majority of staff work from home but you can also go in person if you want a break from the "pajama life."

Cons

It can be difficult to meet new colleagues working virtually.
