Awesome Team and Experience

Pros

I've been working in digital marketing for years now and have done so in a variety of industries on both the agency and client side. Having said that, Everyday Health has hands down been the best place I've worked for a litany of reasons. Here are just a handful of reasons why: - Great team members! My team is hands down the most supportive team I've ever had and I am never made to feel stupid for asking questions which is a big deal considering a past job I've had was notorious about that. The other teams I work with (and I work with almost every team on the Pro side) are the same way. - Everyone is truly open to hearing your ideas and actually takes them seriously. - The communication throughout my interviewing process was great! Which is not typical in my experience with other jobs I've applied for. - Also, I was greatly impressed during the interview process with how punctual they were with the meetings. If the meeting invite said 30 minutes, they respected that and didn't go over it. - There is also a ton of opportunity for internal moving throughout the entire Ziff portfolio, not just in the Everyday Health Group, which is great, and it's not just something they say; it's the truth. - There are tons of opportunities, too, to connect with teammates despite being remote. You just have to take those opportunities. - My team, and all the teams I work with, always seem to be working to update our systems and such to make things better and faster for all of us involved. They aren't just making changes to make changes. Upper management sees or hears of an issue and puts in the work to make positive changes. - Finally, the most important one for me is that they mean it when they say they respect family. I have a toddler, and every person I've dealt with has always been respectful of my time and flexible should things need to shift due to my little one getting sick or something like that.

Cons

This is truly just a personal thing, but they use Lenovo computers, and I prefer Mac. But at least my computer showed up before I started my first day, and they have been great about getting me extra monitors or anything else I need to do my work.

A great place to build your career

Pros

Without hyperbole, Everyday Health Group is the best place I've worked in my career. The benefits and remote-work flexibility are enormous features, but I think what sets this company apart is how it treats its employees day-to-day. Employees are given opportunities for advancement according to their skills and growth in the job. There is also a pervasive culture of teamwork, rather than finger-pointing; we succeed as a team, and we collectively learn from our mistakes and improve next time. These things add up to an environment where people are willing to adapt, think creatively, and problem-solve as a group, and it's why I'm happy to have found my professional home here.

Cons

Some complex projects have a steep learning curve (but there are always resources available).

Pros

I feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of this organization in the Everyday Health Consumer division. The work environment here is exceptional and inspiring, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth and innovation throughout Marketing, Sales and Client Success. The team I work with is not only talented but also incredibly supportive, making every day enjoyable. Everyday Health's commitment to employee development and well-being is outstanding with a fantastic benefits package. I genuinely feel that my professional growth and personal life are a top priority.

Cons

Teams should have more headcount across the division to enable revenue growth.
