Extremely unorganized company.

Pros

Free food on Thursday’s. Nothing too shabby.

Cons

!!Stay away from this establishment if you can!! First off, the company as a start up tech has 80% of their employees not knowing their position and what is required of them in their position (extremely unorganized) The company went through numerous restructure in months and randomly fired numerous employees in the process (no job security or loyalty). If you are looking for a collaborative environment, and job security as well, this isn’t the place. Please take your talents some where else, there are many other Chicago’s start up companies who are more organized and actually have a goal. This is ultimately a pseudo “healthcare” company where hypocrisy reeks within the organization. If you do take an offer, ask for a ton of money to make up for the headaches you are signing up for.

Culturally diverse, but not age diverse

Pros

Growing company doing great things to improve the healthcare landscape. Free food on scheduled days. They work hard at building team camaraderie. Culturally diverse company.

Cons

Everyone is very young, except for leadership. A lot of the workforce doesn't have customer interfacing experiences, and don't necessarily handle confrontation well, or set client expectations well, in situations that could have been easily diffused with someone with more "real world" life experiences.

This an ok place to work

Pros

Evive is an ok place to work. It will depend on who you work with and your job function.

Cons

Something that I really disliked was how disingenuous leadership was. The lack of proper training and the fact that no one wanted to take ownership of any tasks or take responsibility for errors that they caused is asinine. Furthermore, the company culture is not ideal for BPOC. The systems and infrastructure is extremely outdated. No real room for growth and it can be really disorganized. Also, since everyone is WFH, you can’t even enjoy the free food and snacks. But again, this is a stepping stone organization, so get in and get out, make the best of it. PS: don’t let them low ball you on $. Ask for more.
