Pros

The pros are hands down- Evolent hires the best of the best. The people at Evolent are the most intelligent, passionate people I've met in my life. They make coming to work easy! Also the fast paced nature leads to a lot of great learning opportunities- some opportunities you wouldn't receive at other companies where it's all about title and rank.

Cons

Evolent is growing. Which leads to a lot of growing pains. In some departments, managers have a full plate of work themselves, so focusing on their direct reports can be a challenge. Would recommend Evolent for people who feel comfortable being self-starters and need little direction.

The product that this company is continuing to build is so ambitious and expansive that is going to be the benchmark of the population health product marketplace and value-based care delivery platform - it already is, but it is going to be exponentially better. If you are the kind of person who is solution minded and has an insatiable appetite for building software and making a difference, then this is the best career move that you can make.

Cons

keeping up with the growth rate is a sprint and a marathon at the same time - this company is not for the faint of heart, or for people who are easily satisfied.

Modern office building, open floor plan (no offices), close to metro (5 min walk), great very friendly people, healthy snacks, WFH option at least once a week, 25 days PTO

Cons

Parking Garage doesn't have open monthly subscription. Insane wait line.
