Pros

Ex Libris has good products, talented developers, global presence and good customers. There are some good people working there as well but they don't usually stay around for long.

Cons

Ex Libris USA has high employee turnover. There's a new president at least every 2 years. Sales management is unskilled, untrained and unaccountable. Management regularly withholds important information from staff, such as product pricing revisions, product development updates, customer support issues and impending product end-of-life time frames. Job descriptions rarely match the actual job responsibilities. Performance reviews are non-existent but employees are regularly terminated for failure to meet performance standards. The corporate culture discourages a "team" mentality - probably due to the high turnover rate.
