Pros

I made a friend there.

Cons

Your chain of command are married to each other. Your boss and their boss are married. Working with family is against company policy. No Training Program, so learn quick. No room for advancement: Any position that opens up is filled by someone in the office of managements' choosing. Supervisors don’t interview for their positions and management doesn’t ask if anyone else is interested. They have their favorites and they stick to them. No expectations or goals set, and no performance measured: Reviews are filled with vague, canned answers (like "So-and-so keeps their desk clean.") because there's no real data captured, so for the last 2 years, managers have given the excuse "the company is giving 2% across the board; our hands are tied." (They always try to make you believe their hands are tied.) HR is non-existent, so make sure you don't have any issues. You will have no support and they take the side of the managers in the office. Favoritism is a core value: a select few are allowed to leave the property to pick up lunch - while clocked in - but others are told that's against company policy. These same employees are allowed to take 6-8 smoke breaks a day, while others are told they are allowed 2 breaks a day. They are also allowed to steal time. For example, if they are late to work, they are allowed to make up time. How they make up time is to wait for the managers to leave each day at 4:30, then go outside, smoke cigarettes and gossip in the parking lot until time is made up, then they go back in the building and clock out for the day. Actually, they promoted someone to Supervisor who practices this behavior. This office is separate from the rest of the company when it comes to the dress code. The company has a casual dress code, but a particular VP doesn't allow it. The dress code in this office (only) is business casual.

Pros

No customer service, can work from home sometimes

Cons

Boss is condescending. Long time employees take advantage, take long breaks do makenup during work. Leave work for phone calls all the time and make several trips to bathroom for extra breaks. If you’re late one time and your new, they complain about you. Very hypocritical especially if you don’t fit into their group.

Cons

Air con. Sometimes be helpful to have more training time.
