      Great job, but it takes a toll

      Pros

      The pay is great, they've increased it A LOT over the last few years. You're pretty much your own boss, with lots of freedom along the way, but plenty of support when you need it. The job itself is easy, and it's fun if you like to travel. The schedulers are very accommodating if you need time off or want to work in a certain area.

      Cons

      You're never home. Most of the time you leave on Sunday afternoon and come home Friday night or Saturday morning. Sometimes you work locally or have time off, but after a while, you just want to be home.

      Pros

      They will give you more money if you say you are leaving because they cant keep people and think its all about the money. job satisfaction is not in their language. Safety in the field is not important

      Cons

      Toxic workplace. leadership is heavy-handed. medical benefits and retirement plan are not great and expensive. Leadership handles things their way or the highway and not afraid to let you know it. they have lots of turnover.

      Pros

      Travel to small towns you have never heard of before.

      Cons

      Working hours can be taxing on the body. 3am shifts in the freezing cold, setting up equipment outside. Heater does not always work in the trucks , so you may be testing clients in a freezing environment or until you are able to get propane.
