Pros

When I first started it really was a great company to work for. The clearfield site was ran by two amazing leaders. Carl and Christian were a great example of what a leader should be. They had values, morals and when they said they really cared about their employees, they meant it. They created a positive work environment. They were always walking around encouraging agents and setting them up for success. I really enjoyed my job during this time. They have a handful of managers who really want to see their agents succeed. The perfect example of what a manager should be. They also have more than a handful of deceitful, vindictive and heinous managers. The good news is that if you're a manager looking to get promoted to director all you have to do is be late for work almost everyday, and don't worry, if you're one of those managers who can't be on time (but still holds their agents to those standards) they will change your schedule to accommodate you. What more could you ask for? They do offer good schedules that are permanent. You only have to work one Saturday a month and closed Sundays. Benefits are absolutely horrible and get worse every year.

Cons

When Carl and Christian left is when things took a horrible turn. The new directors are not qualified for their position. They're running the place into the ground. Like I said, it doesn't take to much to get promoted. If you possess these qualitys you're golden! also, if you know one of them outside of work you're a shoo-in! They waste other peoples time with interviews when they already have the person hand picked. As an agent, if you're lucky enough to get promoted to Loss Mitigation the pay is good....but not worth your sanity. As for the ones who get promoted, some of them deserve it and the others are chosen strictly by favoritism. The job is fun and exciting, but it comes at a price. If you like a toxic work environment you won't have a problem. They have a manager training program called a "Role Model" suposedly setting them up for a manager position when one comes available. Well that was the case in the beginning. New upper management has turned that into a joke. They will set you up for failure because they already have the person picked out and back on the phones you go. Their good managers are under paid and treated poorly and the awful ones are rewarded. proceed with caution. Oh and the stats that your'e held accountable for and determins your bonus, they do not accuratly determine if you're a good collector or not. It can sometimes be pure luck. You could sit on your tush all month sometimes and still come out on top, and the ones who really put in the work don't get recognition. Culture and values.... they don't have any.
