Pros

Great gym, good child care, and nice on-campus lunch options (but you still get tired of them). Good pay with reasonable benefits.

Cons

Seems unsustainable. Constantly doing more with less. IT infrastructure is overly complicated.

Pros

Benefits are mostly competitive with industry peers Location in Oklahoma City beats living in Houston Great gym

Cons

Since Chesapeake has been under new management following bankruptcy, the culture has taken a nosedive. Layoffs have continued after bankruptcy and the company is operating with a very lean staff. The remaining staff are over-worked and the company is not concerned about retaining anyone. Chesapeake has become a factory for drilling horizontal wells and does not have the staff or the desire to solve problems.
