Pros

You may get anxiety in 6 months.

Cons

1- Oncall is killer, and leadership needs a scapegoat every time something bad happens; they'll play favorites here(some employees who have been there for the past 5-6 years) 2. Unrealistic parameters for promotion and raise, unless you can brown-nose. 3- The manager is your enemy, and your teammates are competition; they will stack rank you no matter the performance. 4- No work-life balance, or ownership over tasks, even with senior devs. 5- A guy was filming people in the restroom last year; you decide how good of a workplace it is.

Pros

Great Office View and Coffee Machines, matching a tier-1 Level (in-house) perks

Cons

Toxic Culture: Here are a few of my experiences 1. Constant pressure to prove yourself and maintain a pedestal image. 2. Most engineering managers lack even a brief technical understanding, and you might report to a Functional or Business Analyst or simply a people manager acting as a Senior Engineering Manager. If so? Run, because they are only saving themselves out there by hook or crook. 3. Team peers feel entitled to question your leave plans and the motive behind your sick leaves.
