Pros

Good company to work for. Structured, well-positioned, and truly cares about improving the traveler experience.

Cons

Bureaucratic, slow-moving, and decision-making is centralized at the VP levels.

Continues to do layoffs

Pros

health insurance is affordable and good quality, hotel discounts are nice.

Cons

Company doesn't seem to know what a strategy is. They keep doing layoffs - often going back to the teams they've already laid off within a coupon of months to do more. It is killing morale, hurting a lot of people impacted, and making everything slow down (and slow is the name of the game here)

Fine Place to Work Until Unnecessary Layoffs

Pros

It was a decent work environment with great co-workers and direct management. Decent work life balance.

Cons

- Engages in financial engineering: record profits > stock buybacks > layoffs to balance buybacks -- at the expense of employee welfare and company growth. - Low compensation and raise potential. - Expected to take on more responsibility without financial compensation.
