Pros

Wear whatever you want, chew what you want, smoke what you want - as long as it's legal Incredibly diverse group of people Established brand and market leader in e commerce Never a lack of work to be done

Cons

Leadership will vary according to department and projects. With that comes an inconsistent process of execution and inaccurate planning of resources and defining of responsibilities The huge lack of knowledge retention puts an unfair amount of pressure on a small handful of people who fully understand how the business operates. Without these individuals - the company would implode. Documentation is a joke - because the standard is tribal knowledge. When you find one of those individuals mentioned above, hold onto them for dear life, they are your ticket to succeeding or utter failure Feedback is hard to come by neither positive or negative. Communication is either overkill (on non important matters) or non-existent on critical issues

Pros

Cons

Extremely poor (non-existent) work/life balance Impersonal management No recognition for work - only constant critical assessments of work If you are not liked by your manager, watch out
