Pros

They used to pay engineers really well back then.

Cons

Office politics are more important than quality or real results; this applies to all levels of management except, sometimes, your direct manager. Also, they teach you that "consumers" (i.e. people whose info is reported to credit bureaus) aren't the same as "clients" or "customers", which results in a culture that doesn't really care if "consumers" are affected by what you do, as long as you comply with laws like FCRA and such.
